Shackles and Tubes
The shackles are simple or reinforced concrete elements, of circular section, which have male and female fittings at their ends allowing the union of the various elements. They have a length of 1000, 2000 or 2300mm and a diameter of 200 to 1200mm.
The simple or reinforced pipes are elements that have the same application as shackles, differing from these by not having a reinforcement in the female socket area, in the form of a bell. They have a length of 2300mm and a diameter of 1500 to 2000mm.
Reinforced concrete shackles and tubes with steel core have incorporated a circular steel reinforcement, welded by automated equipment. The steels in these reinforcements differ in diameter, number and strength class, thus making it possible to manufacture shackles and pipes with different strength classes.
